A Dominican Cigar with Creamy Smoke and Nutty Flavors

Delicious, smooth, medium bodied cigar with a slightly firm draw with medium amounts of smoke and lots of flavor. Has a nice peppery finish and burns very slow with a solid 1 to 2 inch ash before falling off. You'll notice it has a creaminess and also some hints of peanuts and a bit of caramel at times. Nutty flavors definitely stand out with this one

The History Behind the Cohiba Red Dot

No, this isn't the Cuban "Cohiba" you may have heard about. Cohiba cigars are typically known as cigars made in Cuba, but they have a United States market-friendly counterpart produced in the Dominican Republic. Yes, it is the SAME brand that also makes those tasty cigars with Cuban tobacco, but that's not the cigar you're reading about here. Regardless, the "red dot" gets its name from the red dot within the "O" on the cigar band.  Now you know.
